A Welsh Public Bank is Liberation from City of London and Big Five Commercial Banks.

Yr Aflonydwwch Mawr since our inception in 2012 has stood for creation of a Public Bank for Wales as a means of using existing Welsh resources that are extracted by the Big Five UK Commercial Banks for the benefit of Welsh People.

Already pioneering work in being done in Hampshire on a Public Community Bank and we follow its regulatory problems with interest as the Law needs changing to make Public Banking a reality in the UK and Wales in particular.
