Remembering The Abergele Martyrs

We at Yr Aflonyddwch Mawr remember the Abergele Martyrs who died for Cymru on the 1st July 1969, on the morning that another usurper was to be crowned Prince of Wales in the British Royal Tradition.

We remember the Abergele Martyrs because they represent the unconquerable spirit of the Welsh Nation.

A spirit which may lay low for some time before bursting forward in renewal.

The Renewal of the Welsh Nation is the daylight that follows the long night and the Abergele Martyrs shone the light to a new path for Wales.
