The CUP-CC before the appearance in Brussels of the President of the Republic, Carles Puigdemont, wants to state:
We understand that the appearance and content of this, are in themselves, an act of dignity.
We insist that the best action to consolidate the Republic is to start making government action in a republican key, which means approving the first republican decrees and declaring the beginning and opening of the constituent process.
We share the denunciation of the undemocratic and partial action of the Administration of Spanish justice and the impunity with which the Spanish right extreme acts.
We share the call to resist against the attempt to impose anti-democratic measures through article 155 of the Spanish Constitution.
We also want to denounce that what has happened since the proclamation last Friday, October 27, to date, shows that during these last two years, work has not been done in the creation and consolidation of State structures . It is also clear that there has been an excess of improvisation in some actions in the last months.
On the other hand, from the CUP-CC we want to show our solidarity with the president of Parliament and the members of the Bureau of Parliament before the summons to go to declare before the Spanish Supreme Court, accused of rebellion, sedition and embezzlement, a new action of political revenge on the part of the Spanish Public Prosecutor's Office.
