Yr Aflonyddwch Mawr activists at Merthyr Rising engaged in many discussions with local people young and old and we received a very favourable reception selling many magazines and a few of our books - all our leaflets have gone on the first day.
The people of Merthyr expressed real interest in our Flag and its origins which enabled us to explain our view of Welsh History - especially the White Eagle of Snowdon a symbol of Welsh struggle that goes back to a poem in the 1200's
